Yanise Ho is a young American of 22. On November 26th, she will take on a long distance raid from Savannah (Georgia) to Miami (Florida) for a total of 550 miles (885 km). She will skate through national parks and sleep in campsites or stay with locals. This raid is only a prelude to a much bigger project: a 13.000 km trip from Germany to China, through 18 countries, to establish a Guiness World Record.
Bladress, the documentary
Yanise Ho has planned to skate from 8 to 10 months without carrying any money at all. She will have to manage for the eating and the sleeping part. She will be followed by a camera crew who will shoot a documentary on her adventure. But she won’t be allowed to ask them for help: the aim of The Bladress is to show that there is still kindness in this world and that we should have faith in the human kind.
During her trip, Yanise Ho will collect money that will be redistributed to people in need. You can follow her trip on a special website with an interactive map. According to the map on the home page, she should skate through France. Skaters who wish to, can join her for a while. The mission of this documentary is to bring people together, on any kind of wheels: roller/inline skates, bikes, skateboards…
