The Venezuelan delegation moved to the patinodrome « equidad » in Guarne (Antioquia, Colombia) for a few weeks. The Venezuelan skaters know this place well, they already came here in 2010 to compete in World Championships. They did their best result with six medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze).
According to the planning of the management team composed with Orlando José Carreras Cortines, Eduardo Mendoza and Juan Jose Gonzalez, the group will stay in Guarne till 29 July to prepare the upcoming World Games and World Championships.
The 9th World Games will be held in Santiago de Cali (Valle, Colombia) from 27 July to 4 August 2013. The Junior and Senior Inline Speed Skating World Championships will take place in Ostende (Belgium) from 21 to 31 August 2013.
