The first games started two days ago at the 2015 U20 Worlds of Rink Hockey in Vilanova y la Geltru, Spain. The opening game was only a formality for the local skaters against England (6-1). Yet, the English captain saved the Queen’s honor…
Yesterday, all the teams started the preliminary phases. For its first game, France met India. The final score was heavy with 37 goals scored for the French against a team that still lacks international experience.
The following games, between Chile and Egypt (12-0), Angola and the USA (24-1), and Argentina and South Africa (16-0), were in the same vein!
The other games were more balanced. Colombia managed to beat Germany. Portugal, the current title holder, didn’t give Switzerland much chance despite the latter’s good performance. Andorra stood up to Italy.
