Gun shot for season final on October 13
Today, it is only two months to go for this skate season’s big final: On October 13, 2013 more than 1,600 inline skaters from Germany and abroad will kick off for the K2 Cologne Skate Marathon, Germany’s second biggest skate marathon.
Particularly, the numerous fitness and recreational skaters will love the new course and the new finish: The re-integrated vibrant city quarters Severinsviertel, Ehrenfeld and Nippes as well as a prolongated finish area over the shopping mile Hohe Straße and the finish line on Komödienstraße with the city’s landmark, Cologne Cathedral, in the background will attrack a plethora of spectators. Not only will viewers line up on both sides of the streets at Rudolfplatz, along the Rings (Ringe) and in the finish. Enjoy the crowds and shouts of joy especially on Severinsstraße, Venloer Straße, Nippeser Straße …!
