The 2016 Men’s European Championships of Rink Hockey will take place in Portugual, in Oliveira de Azeméis, from July 11th to 16th.

After the resignation of their national coach, Mateo de Ramon, a pair, made of Pascal Kissling, coach of the first team of Diessbach and captain of the Swiss National team at the 2015 Worlds of La Roche-sur-Yon, and his assistant Gian-Luca Privitelli, was appointed in mid-April.

In early May, P. Kissling and G-L. Privitelli published the first pre-selection for the Swiss team in preparation for the 2016 Euro in Portugal. This selection is made of 16 players, including 4 goal keepers and 12 field players, from 8 different clubs.

  • Pascal Kissling
  • Nino Wyss

Uttigen

  • Roman Langenegger (goal keeper)
  • Jean-Pierre Vizio (goal keeper)

Let’s also note the comeback of Federico Garcia Mendez of Geneva, one of the best — if not the best — Swiss scorers of the past years.
