Chilean skater María José Moya got two new world titles at the 2016 Worlds of Speed Skating in Nanjing, China, winning the 100 m and the 300 m races.
After 22 years of inline skating and a first title in 2006, the five-time world champion started in 2015 a training with a view to participating in the Winter Olympics of Pyeongchang, South Korea, in February 2018. She’s currently preparing with Ricardo Verdugo and Valentina Moya. She’s been living in Germany for 2 years, a country where she meets optimal conditions to reach her objective.
