Bart Swings just beat the Belgian Record in the 3000m long track last Friday, December 30 at an international competition held in Erfurt (Germany). He dethroned and his compatriot Bart Veldkamp with a time of 3’45 « 91.
Two other national records fell in the women category under the leadership of Jelena Peeters. she won the 500 m (41 « 55) and the 5000 m (7’16« 55). The previous record was held by Nelle Army who still holds the record in the 3000m women in 4’18 « 93.
