Asian Inline Cup 2009

Did you know it? There is an Asian Inline Cup! It look like the FIC (French Inline Cup), the SIC (Swiss Inline Cup), the GIC (German Inline Cup) or other similar formats. The first stage of this asian challenge will take place in Singapore, the 28th February during the Lion City Inline Cup. Skaters will compete on a half-marathon.
A second event should occur at the same place a week later (7th march). The main differences with European competitions, there are speed races before the Marathon (500 m for example). According to Bill Begg, the 2009 should calendar should be composed of about fifteen events from the end of February till October, 2009. A Master category is opened for the 40 years and more (on January 1st) and also a Junior category (less than 17 years on January 1st). More infos : Bill Begg blog concerning the AIC
