The Spanish delegation at the 2012 Inline Speed Skating World Championships in Ascoli Piceno (Italy) consists of only two athletes: Ioseba Fernandez and Patxi Peula. Although they are few Spanish skaters, Ioseba Fernández took the second place in the 300 m TT in 24.774. He finished only 3 hundredths of a second behind the new Colombian World Champion Pedro Causil (24.765).
