Skateboarding and Skateboards: All the Information You Need

par davidwilliams » 02 Mai 2019 9:46

If you’re just beginning to pay attention to skateboarding and never tried it before, you should get all the information you can about it, including safety measures that assure you don’t hurt when skating outside, or indoors. With so much information online, you can learn special skateboarding skills, the different models for different purposes, safety hints, and how to generally enjoy skateboarding as a real sport. Once you know where you can find quality information on the subject, you will become a pro in no time. See also: best skateboard to get for beginners under 50 100

Specialized Magazines about Skateboarding

One of the best sources of information is specialty magazines for skateboarding. This kind of articles will teach you new techniques, and great tips on how to stay safe all the time. On the other hand, this kind of magazines have a lot of advertisement that keeps you update with the latest materials, gear, and products, to improve your experience. It’s even possible to contact with other skateboarders through the section of classified ads so you can become part of the experience sharing.

Specialized Shops

To find the best information on skateboarding, you have two choices. The first and most obvious is your local specialized shop where you can buy the latest gear and accessories. In this kind of shop, it’s easy to find Sector Nine products, valuable information on Sector Nine Skateboards, and other types of boards like mountain boards and longboards among the most popular. This is also a chance to get to know people who are already experienced with skateboarding, giving you an opportunity to learn what are the latest trends, best park locations, and special techniques that can help you improve faster.

If you prefer surfing the web, you can also access the other type of shop: Online. While comfortably at home, you can discover all kinds of information and tips on skateboarding. This kind of online shop can offer you as many products (or even more) as your local shop, and special access to great articles and product reviews, something you can’t find on your local shop. An online Skateboarding shop is perfect to develop your knowledge of the subject and find what people are buying to practice skateboarding nowadays.

Discussion Groups and Specialized Forums

If you want a great resource of knowledge from experienced people, you can take a look at discussion groups and Online forums to learn all about Skateboarding, the hottest models, and special techniques. Once you go to one of those places, you will find thousands of posts that can be related to a variety of topics: models, pricing, skills, techniques, and professional skateboarding. If you have a question, you can post it online and have it answered within minutes or hours by an expert skateboarder. See more: best skateboard for beginners at medium

You can also receive some answers from amateur skateboarders like yourself in a short period of time, contributing to more knowledge. A good tip you can use is not to follow every piece of advice you get from the members. You must be able to sort that information since most experienced skateboarders are speaking about their own experiences, without knowing anything about how experienced you are. Some suggestions are just not fit for your needs as a skateboarder at that moment.

Skateboarding Specialty Parks

This is a great spot to find precious knowledge. Find out if your neighborhood has a skate park and make a trip there. Besides being the perfect place to practice, you will find a lot of skateboard aficionados that can share some advice about better equipment or even help you improve your own techniques. This is also a great chance to watch skateboarders in action and see how they deal with it. You will feel inspired and grow new ideas about the possibilities your talent and skills have to offer.

Specialized Sites for Skateboard Reviews

If you’re looking to buy a new skateboard, and have little knowledge on which to choose, a site for skateboard reviews is the best place to start. You will find reviews of popular and less known skateboards and accessories. These reviews will be organized by brand, pricing, or model reference, depending on the site. Pay attention to that for better navigation and search. If you’re looking for a specific skateboard or accessory, you can search the name on the site. If you’re still hesitant and prefer to choose from some variety, you can base your search on brand, pricing, or certain specifications. Skateboarding Literature

Your local library or bookstore can be a good choice if you don’t have contact with skateboarding magazines or specialized forums. The books on the subject are not abundant, however, the existing ones have good quality and help you to develop your techniques and gain new skills. If you don’t want to spend money on books, you can always go to your bookstore and read them. If you find the knowledge essential and keep coming back to read the same book, maybe it’s time to buy it and add it to your personal library.

Bonjour,
Pointure?

davidwilliams a écrit:Bonsoir à tous,
